Before turning to the formulary analysis, it seems necessary to reflect on the number of documents found for each typology and relate this number to their chronological distribution. The following table has been drawn up for this purpose: The data shows that only a few donations dating from the 1240s onwards, up to the end of the 13th century, survive in the Torre do Tombo collection of the Pedroso monastery.
